One of the biggest reasons people fail in online marketing is
they start without any research and only interested
in earning money without providing value.

It's the fact I think that most people that enter this bizz have herd all the BS about you can make a million.
For one for two Know one really wants to say how they made there money if they really did anyone online now can edit a screen shot and make it look like something it's not.And now it's even harder to find true help everyone out there has a website set up to either capture your e-mail addy or sell you something so people do what i do sign up keep a window open to gmail block senders email check out the junk and delete. My most recent thought is to open a site with no links to sales period no addy sign-ups no adds
just plan help Step By Step with real info not this I make millions crap buy this and I'll show you garbage.

My opinion

by marketraise on Wed Jul 16, 2008 2:34 pm

Hello.
In simple words i want to present my opinion.
I think that most of the marketers only concentrate on their product uniqueness and product differentiation from competitors.
But they don't think that now a days customers are more clever and choosy. So,my advice to all marketers that don't underestimate customers and give 100% preference to client requirements.

Re: THEY QUIT!!!

etoolcntrl wrote:Simple, they give up! It takes time to learn "how to" DO internet marketing and make money at it - it took me 4 years to go full time. But the way I see it, college was four years and my expensive degree in "Alcohol 101" never did pay off for me. =)

But seriously, people simply give up before they "get it" - it's a business, not something that builds itself and not something that happens overnight, like a lot of people claim. The big guys didn't wake up one day and POOF, there's a fat list waiting in their autoresponder - they had to build it one piece at a time.

Most people don't have the staying power to overcome the obstacles and hurdles. There was a point where I was nearly homeless, lost a car, job, was completely broke - but somehow I found a way to pay aweber and my hosting account - I just found a way. It wasn't easy and I'm far from "there", and by all means - I have not "arrived" - but looking back it was worth every pitfall and learning curve. I wouldn't change any of it.

When you stick with something and you're committed to it (meaning you'll do what you say you will do, long after the mood you said it in has left you) eventually things start to fall into place and the right people, information, and events just seem to present themselves when you're ready for them to, then one day you look back and you're like, WOW! I'm making money at this. How cool!

But if I would have quit, I'd never know what I know now or be where I'm at. A guy told me one time, he said, "Billy, go as far as you can see and when you get there, you'll be able to see farther." The problem is when WE stop the process and throw in the towel - at that point we're beat - BUT IF WE NEVER QUIT - THEN WE CANNOT FAIL - failing doesn't happen until we say it does. It's up to us. It's our choice to succeed vs. fail. The question is, will you keep going until that day comes?

PS: Don't miss out on this...

Awesome post, thank you.

It really is impossible to fail if you keep going.

If you've finally found a vocation you love and that has the potential to make you big money,
you are commiting yourself to sticking through with the process through thick and thin.
It's like a marriage. It goes through it's ups and downs, and it's NEVER a harmonizing realtionship,
but you stick with that person because you know that it's a growth process and you can't
fault the other person for growing into a bigger and better person.

Business ironically works the same way. One day you can be getting sales and leads, and one week
later something freakish happens and now craigslist has cracked down on personal ads. Or Google
jacks up it's clicks on your ads by 1 or 2 bucks, or Myspace added a captch code (me, lol).

I'm sticking through this because I love what I do and If I quit now, what will I tell my kids in the future?

"Hey guys, your fathers a quitter don't ever be like me"

What kind of example am I setting? What legacy am I leaving behind?

Most people fail because they expect things to happen a lot quicker than they actually do.

It is very, very hard work starting from scratch with a home business, especially if you are a newbie to begin with.

I'm lucky in the amount of time that I have to devote to my business and in the beginning did not have to rely on earning a set amount of money.

Determination and a will to succeed is essential.
